Scenes from a Coffee HouseAs I open the door to the place that becomes my second home during the long school week, the bells that hang from the center of the door bang against the wood and the hard smell of coffee greets me. To my immediate right are a couple of high tables tucked away in the corner. The corner is made up of the outer wall of the shop (where in huge green letters the words coffee grounds are displayed, all lower case), the side wall, and the counter where consumers may purchase any number of beverages, not necessarily committed to coffee. If they are hungry, a variety of cookies, muffins, cakes, pies, bagels, or salads may be purchased asScenes from a Coffee House

creative project proposal4.48 Psychosis written by Sarah Kane in 1999, explores the inner-mind of a person who is driven to suicide. The piece begins with a suggestion of a female lead declaring that she will die at approximately 4:48 a.m. Kane has written this piece to be very unspecific in terms of who is speaking when, leaving it up to the director to decide how many actors he or she will need, as well as how they wish to portray the story. Some scenes are sessions with a psychologist, while other portions of the play are merely a compilation of thoughts, feelings, and reactions to what is going on within the suicidal mind. As I read, I picture the female lead reccreative project proposal

I know that I won’t reach every student at the same level all of the time, but my goal is to reach each student at some point during my role as their teacher.Teaching Philosophy
